Rickey Richardson has come to Apollo Realty after 14 years of service in the airline industry. As a flight attendant, I have seen most of the country and lived in New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and now Florida. I moved to Florida in 1998 seeking refuge from the cold of New Jersey, and fell in love with Brevard County. My wife, Karen, and I first lived in Cape Canaveral, and then bought our first condo in Cocoa Beach. After the birth of our son, Kyle, we move to the beach suburbs of Merritt Island where we are on our second "fixer up" canal house. I am not a native Floridian but have lived here nearly 30 years. We moved to Palm Bay in 1977 after my husband was discharged from the US Navy, Pearl Harbor Hawaii. After 5 years in Hawaii, we were sure that returning to our native Ohio was not where we wanted to live. We have been very content and happy Brevard residents since then and now live in Cocoa. During this period of time I have worked at Harris Corporation while completing my Master's Degree in Contracts and Acquisition Management. I worked in the Central Purchasing Division, negotiating large contracts and procuring large quantities of various components in a very competitive environment.

I am a runner. I started running marathons in 1998 and have now run 16 marathons in 10 different states. I have been happily married for 37 years and we have 3 lovely children and 6 beautiful grandchildren.
